We are Edwin and Linda. Since the end of 2025, we have been able to call this place “our place.” A place we feel connected to, a dream spot to share with others, and a place that evokes peace and relaxation while providing a sense of space.
A place that, in a way, “wants to be shared,” and that is exactly what we want to create with what we offer.
We believe in development—that as a human being, you always want to keep growing on your path through life. And growth doesn’t just mean feeling happier yourself, but also being an even better person for those around you. That is why our offer is aimed not only at holidaymakers looking for pure relaxation, but also at those who want to develop themselves and are willing to challenge themselves to explore the parts of themselves that have remained hidden.

The place and the name
In the past, Cabecinha was a hermitage: a place of seclusion and reflection, to look out over life. Throughout the centuries, that is what people have always done at Cabecinha, and you can feel it. The name has always been there, so it truly belongs to the place.
In Portuguese, “Cabecinha” means “little head” or “empty head.” A strange name, you might think, but we find it very fitting. Because if you think of the expression “don’t worry your head about it,” it means you don’t have to worry; it is also a phrase that refers to an inner child.
And so it fits the idea of an “empty head”—being carefree and becoming zen. When you aren’t filled with worries or other things, space is created for reflection and development. Or perhaps to give space to your inner child, who might need to receive loving attention and be nurtured.
